Nestled in a dynamic shared warehouse in Jack London Square, this inspiring studio space is perfect for artists, makers, and creators seeking a collaborative environment. The UMW Community offers space for a wide range of creative practices. Whether you're a seasoned professional or a passionate hobbyist, our space is designed to nurture creativity, skill sharing, and innovation.
We envision our warehouse as a laboratory where workshops, art exhibits, and community events can inspire creativity in the general public. By providing a supportive environment and access to resources, we aim to nurture artistic talent and drive positive change in the Town.
Our work spaces vary in size and can be scaled up to suit individual and community needs, and we do our best to provide the support community members need need to unlock their creative potential.

The Works is an eclectic and diverse mix of artists/makers/creators! We prioritize prospective tenants who can add to our community.

Rent is $1.81/sqft for single-level workspaces. This includes utilities, security, and sanitation.

Space insurance is required. You may be added to the collective insurance if feasible/desired

Community members receive 24/7 access to studios with a personalized passcode.

All members must follow community health and safety guidelines.

Placements are on a first come first served basis.

Community members may use shared/community space to exhibit, host workshops, or scheduled events.
